NEW RELEASE! REG. PRICE $30 - An exciting new vintage in a long string of Mathis Grenache Rosé successes. The 2024 is invitingly brilliant with an apricot/salmon hue. Highly perfumed with peach, raspberry, and apricot aromas, it has sparkling crispness that marries well with the lush fruit characters. It's a crowd-pleasing wine that I’m sure you will enjoy.

PRODUCTION NOTES

Good winter and spring rainfall led to healthy growth, with excellent early shoot elongation. Cooler than average temperatures through the early and mid-season allowed for a more traditional harvest date at the Mathis Vineyard. Picking took place on the 19th of September, with the fruit in perfect condition and good concentration.

The 2024 Rosé de Grenache pairs exceptionally well with lighter summer fare, particularly grilled seafood, vegetables, and chicken. It also accompanies fruit salads and desserts well. With main courses, it pairs well with spicy, Asian-influenced dishes due its fresh acidity and lovely, fresh raspberry notes. It’s showing beautifully on release and is ready to enhance your summer get-togethers as soon as it arrives at your table!

VINEYARD DESCRIPTION

Mathis Vineyard covers a 7.5 acre plot, situated in the hills above the town of Sonoma, on a warm, south-facing slope.  The soils are volcanic in origin, low vigor, with underlying rhyolitic rock.  The nearby San Francisco Bay, visible from the vineyard, provides a cooling influence and allows for extended hang time at harvest.
