Wine Shipping Policies Wine can only be delivered to a person 21 years of age or older. An ID and signature will be required at time of delivery. Our standard operating procedure is to have your order to our shipper by the end of the business day for 2 day shipment. HOWEVER – extreme weather may result in the shipment being held until the conditions have passed. We HIGHLY recommend you select 2nd Day Air as your shipping method during hot weather. Incorrect delivery information, including zip code mistakes, incorrect addresses or re-routing of packages at the point of delivery will result in a $6.00 address correction charge for ground shipments and $11.00 address correction charge for air shipments. For those packages that are returned to Wine Country Shipping by the carrier because the package was undeliverable, return freight charges will be incurred. Mathis cannot be held accountable for late deliveries due to bad weather. Delivery trucks are not temperature controlled and planning the timing of wine shipments should be used during times of extreme temperatures. Mathis will not accept any orders for direct shipment in the felony states.
